Massage Training
Monterey Institute of Touch:  September 2014- September 2015  — Carmel-by-the-Sea, CA 93923
I have had some of the best training from some of the most amazing, seasoned and experienced instructors. Being trained from Basic and Advanced Anatomy, Physiology, Kinesiology, Pathology to self care, business and MANY modalities in massage. Also, this training was not only a lot of lecture, reading and homework; but it was also very much hands-on training. For example; after taking the Sports Massage course, we went to the Big Sur Marathon and experienced massaging many freshly off-the-track runners, helping them with their cool-down, cramping, chills, and dehydration. I’d have to say massage school was an experience of a lifetime.” -Marissa R.
